An easy to make no bake Christmas treat that brightens trays with bright Peppermint crunch!
White Chocolate Dipped Oreo Cookies
I have always melted white chocolate chips for things like this, but I’ve changed my ways. Call me crazy, but something has changed with white chocolate chips. It doesn’t matter what brand, I consistently have trouble getting smooth, beautiful white chocolate when I melt it.
I switched to using almond bark and I regret not doing that years ago! Almond bark melts quickly and it’s always perfectly smooth. It never seizes up into chunky pieces and it dries quickly! I can’t say enough good things about it! Using it for these White Chocolate Peppermint Oreos makes it a breeze to make big batches of them.
If you like peppermint, then I think you’ll like Peppermint Cheesecake Dip, Mini Peppermint Cheesecakes, Peppermint Bark Fudge, Peppermint Bark, and Peppermint Pretzel Bites, too!
What You’ll Need:
- 12 Christmas Oreos
- 12 oz Almond Bark
- Peppermint Crunch
How to Make White Chocolate Peppermint Oreos
- Lay out a piece of parchment paper and 12 Christmas Oreos.
- Melt 12 oz almond bark in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth and melted.
- Gently place an Oreo in the melted almond bark. (Do not stir Oreo around. Avoid moving it as much as possible, it will leave Oreo crumbs which will discolor the almond bark.) Cover the top of the Oreo with almond bark using a fork. Using the same fork, scoop under the Oreo and lift out, tapping excess melted almond bark off and sliding against the edge of the bowl. Set on the parchment paper.
- Sprinkle peppermint crunch over the top of the covered Oreo while the almond bark is still wet.
- Repeat until desired number of Oreos are made and let harden.
