Polar Bear Paws Candy
I recently heard someone say that life begins at 40. Up until then we are just doing research.
HA! I love it! It’s so true. Who in the world decided we are adults when we are 18?! No one at that age can make solid life choices. I barely act like an adult now and I’m 40 something! Adulting is the worst.
Life truly does begin after we finally realize life is too short to sweat the small stuff or to worry about things we can’t control. It’s time to just live and let go! So let’s grab one of these Polar Bear Paws and snuggle in with our families with a warm cup of hot cocoa to watch our favorite Christmas movie!
You could make yourself a whole snack spread and include some Rolo Pretzel Turtles, Candied Pecans, and Butter Toffee Pretzels, too!

How to Make Polar Bear Paws
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a sauce pan over low heat, melt together 1 (11 oz) bag unwrapped Kraft caramels, 3 tbsp heavy whipping cream, and 1 tbsp butter. Stir frequently so the caramel doesn’t burn.
- Once melted, stir in 1 tsp vanilla and 1 1/4 cup unsalted peanuts. Remove from heat and let stand for 5-10 minutes to thicken.
- Drop heaping mounds of the mixture onto the parchment paper. Place in the freezer for 20 minutes.
- When the time is up, melt 16 oz vanilla almond bark in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring at each interval until the chocolate is smooth and melted.
- Remove pan from the freezer. Dunk each caramel cluster into the melted chocolate, tap off extra chocolate on the side of the bowl, and place back onto the parchment paper.
- Let chocolate harden. If desired, drizzle leftover chocolate over the hardened clusters.
