A fun, colorful twist on the classic marshmallow treat shaped and decorated to look like LEGO bricks!

LEGO Rice Krispie Treats Recipe
We have a LEGO loving kid. He has loved LEGO’s since he got his first set for his 3rd birthday. Now, half our kitchen table is consumed with LEGO’s at all times. There have been nights that my husband and I will scan across the table and chuckle at the mind-blowingly creative ideas he comes up with! He helped me stage the LEGO’s for these pictures!
Ever since he was little, he’s always had a handful, or pocketful, of toys and trinkets. His trails are always so cute, I just have to take a picture so I can look back and remember those moments! I’ve taken pictures of tiny wet footprints on the bathroom mat, sand-filled shoes left at the deck door, and a pile of little balls and LEGO guys. I have collected so many of those moments because time is quickly slipping away from me and some day he won’t be little anymore!
If you love cute Rice Krispie Treats as much as I do, then I think you’ll have fun with Halloween Rice Krispie Treats, St. Patrick’s Day Dipped Rice Krispie Treats, Mummy Rice Krispie Treats, and Rice Krispie Valentine Hearts, too!

What You’ll Need:
- 12 Store Bought Rice Krispies Treats

- M&M Colors to Match

How to Make LEGO Rice Krispies Treats
- Unwrap the 12 store bought Rice Krispies Treats and place them on a parchment paper lined pan.
- For large LEGO bricks, leave as is.
- For square LEGO bricks, cut a 1/3 of the Rice Krispies Treat off and use the 1/3 for the smallest size.
- Melt one color of the candy melt wafers at a time. You do not have to use the colors I suggest, you can choose the colors you’d like.
- Pour about 1/2 cup of colored chocolate candy melts into a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 30 second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth and melted.
- To make the chocolate smoother and easier to spread, you may need to add a little oil to the melted chocolate and stir.
- Spread the melted chocolate over the tops of desired treats.
- Place matching M&M’s on top of the wet chocolate as pictured.
- Let harden.
