Original Rice Krispie Treats with Bunny Shaped Marshmallows

Looking at the fun colors in these Easter Marshmallow Rice Krispie Treats makes me smile! I bought a bag of Jet-Puffed Bunny Marshmallows with no plan in mind, but I knew I needed to find a way to use them. They were just too cute to pass up!

There is so much going on in the world right now. Instead of getting caught up in things I can’t control, I focus on the things that make me happy – my family, friends, my faith, the sunshine, volunteering for my church, surrounding myself with the laughter of children, and baking!

These ooey-gooey treats will make everyone happy! You’ll especially love how easy they are to make! I think you’ll love these Easter Rice Krispie Treats, Caramel Rice Krispie Treats, Marshmallow Rice Krispie Treats, and Banana Pudding Rice Krispie Treats, too!

What You’ll Need:

• 3 tbsp Butter, Melted
• 1 (10 oz) bag Marshmallows
• 6 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
• 2 cups Bunny Shaped Marshmallows

How to Make Easter Marshmallow Rice Krispie Treats

• Spray 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
• Melt 3 tbsp butter in a large microwave safe bowl.
• Pour 1 (10 oz) bag of marshmallows into the bowl and stir.
• Place into microwave for 45 seconds, remove and stir.
• Return to the microwave and heat for another 45 seconds. Remove from the microwave and stir again.
• Pour 6 cups Rice Krispies into the melted marshmallows and mix until well combined.
• Then stir in 2 cups bunny shaped marshmallows until mixed in well.
• Distribute evenly and press firmly into the pan.
• Press additional bunny shaped marshmallows into the top of the treats.

Pro Tip: Place a Ziplock bag over your hand and spray the outside of the bag with non-stick spray before pressing down the Rice Krispie Treats. This helps to keep them from sticking to your hand!
