Chocolate Dipped Rice Krispie Treats for 4th of July

I am a Rice Krispie Treat addict. Every time I make them I basically do it as I am running out the door because I will eat the entire pan if they are sitting around!

The most popular recipe on the blog are these Peanut Butter Rice Krispies Treats! And for my son’s birthday one year, I made LEGO Rice Krispies Treats! And one of my all-time favorites are Cake Batter Rice Krispie Treats!

Kids always have fun decorating these Patriotic Dipped Rice Krispie Treats for the 4th of July! You can even put a popsicle stick in the end of them to make them even more fun!

What You’ll Need:

• 12 Rice Krispie Treats, Unwrapped
• 1/2 cup Red Candy Melts
• 1/2 cup Royal Blue Candy Melts
• 1/2 cup White Candy Melts
• Patriotic Sprinkles

How to Make Patriotic Dipped Rice Krispie Treats

• Lay parchment paper on the counter.
• Unwrap 12 Rice Krispie Treats and set aside.
• Melt 1/2 cup red candy melts, 1/2 cup royal blue candy melts, and 1/2 cup white candy melts in separate microwave safe bowls, stirring in 30 second intervals until melted and smooth.
• Dunk 4 Rice Krispie Treats in each color, then lay them out on the parchment paper. Sprinkle chocolate covered part with patriotic sprinkles.
• Let cool and harden.

Ingredients

• 12 Rice Krispie Treats, Unwrapped
• 1/2 cup Red Candy Melts

Instructions
