Easy Easter Rice Krispie Treats

We love taking day trips and exploring new places. We recently came across a fun little locally owned candy shop in a small little town that was fully stocked with all sorts of candy we had forgotten about!

I love bright and happy colors, especially when it’s candy or sprinkles! These Easter Rice Krispie Treats are perfect for Spring time. It takes 5-minutes to make these and you can use any Easter sprinkles you’d like. You can even use Easter shaped cookie cutters to make fun shapes, too!

Rice Krispie Treats are my weakness. I find it impossible to resist them! If you love them as much as I do, then I think you’ll like Caramel Rice Krispie Treats, Banana Pudding Rice Krispie Treats, and Marshmallow Rice Krispie Treats, too!

What You’ll Need:

• 3 tbsp Butter, Melted
• 1 (10 oz) bag Marshmallows
• 6 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
• Easter Sprinkles

How to Make Easter Rice Krispie Treats

• Spray 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
• Melt 3 tbsp butter in a large microwave safe bowl.
• Pour 1 (10 oz) bag of marshmallows into the bowl and stir.
• Place into microwave for 45 seconds, remove and stir.
• Return to the microwave and heat for another 45 seconds. Remove from the microwave and stir again.
• Pour 6 cups Rice Krispies into the melted marshmallows and mix until well combined.
• Distribute evenly and press firmly into the pan.
• Sprinkle with Easter sprinkles.

Pro Tip: Place a Ziplock bag over your hand and spray the outside of the bag with non-stick spray before pressing down the Rice Krispie Treats. This helps to keep them from sticking to your hand!
