St. Patrick’s Day Rice Krispie Treats

Every time I go to the Dollar Store there is a lady who is dressed from head to toe in whatever the upcoming holiday is. There is not one part of her that doesn’t coordinate with that holiday!

Anyone who shops there can’t deny knowing St. Patrick’s Day is coming up, that’s for sure! Although I love her enthusiasm, I just can’t get as thrilled about St. Patrick’s Day as I do the other holidays. This year, I tried harder to embrace it and found that when I used Lucky Charms marshmallows I got a little more excited!

I found inspiration on Pinterest for these St. Patrick’s Day Dipped Rice Krispie Treats! What You’ll Need:

• 12 Rice Krispie Treats, Unwrapped
• 2 cups Green Candy Melts
• Lucky Charms Marshmallows
• Gold Sprinkles

How to Make St. Patrick’s Day Dipped Rice Krispie Treats

• Lay parchment paper on the counter.
• Unwrap 12 Rice Krispie Treats and set aside.
• Melt 1 cup green candy melts in the microwave, stirring in 30 second intervals, until melted and smooth.
• Dunk Rice Krispie Treats in the melted green chocolate, then lay them out on the parchment paper. Sprinkle chocolate covered part with Lucky Charms marshmallows and gold sprinkles.
• Let cool and harden.

Ingredients

• 12 Rice Krispie Treats, Unwrapped
• 2 cups Green Candy Melts
• Lucky Charms Marshmallows
• Gold Sprinkles

Instructions

1. Lay parchment paper on the counter.
2. Unwrap Rice Krispie Treats and set aside.
3. Melt green candy melts in the microwave, stirring in 30 second intervals, until melted and smooth.
