Construction Dirt Cups

When my son was little I poured my everything into making his birthday special. There is just something about a child’s birthday that brings out the kid in all of us! I even handmade his invitations and that was before there was fancy web based assistance, like Canva!

I still like to make sure his birthday feels special, but I’ve really scaled back. I have to keep his expectations realistic!

Oreo Dirt Cake Cups are one of my most popular recipes, so I’ve been adding more like it but with different ways to decorate them like these Constructions Oreo Dirt Cake Cups! You can decorate these for Halloween, Easter, Earth Day, or for a Dinosaur themed birthday party, too!

What You’ll Need:

• 1 package Oreo’s, Crushed
• 4 tbsp Butter, Softened
• 1 cup Powdered Sugar
• 8 oz Cream Cheese, Softened
• 2 (3.9 oz each) Packages Instant Chocolate Pudding
• 3 1/2 cups Milk
• 12 oz Cool Whip
• Toy Construction Vehicles

How to Make Construction Oreo Dirt Cake Cups

• Crush the entire package of Oreo’s and set aside. 
• In a separate small bowl, mix 1/2 stick softened butter, 1 cup powdered sugar, and 8 oz of softened cream cheese until smooth. 
• In a separate large bowl, mix 2 (3.9 oz) packages of instant chocolate pudding and 3 1/2 cups of milk together. Fold in 12 oz of Cool Whip. Mix. 
• Pour cream cheese mixture into the pudding mixture and mix together until well combined. 
• In individual cups of your choice, layer as follows:
  • Pudding mixture & gummy worm
  • Crushed Oreo’s
  • Pudding mixture & gummy worm
  • Crushed Oreo’s
• Garnish top with toy construction vehicles and crushed Oreo’s.

Instructions
