Fun and easy to make birthday party treat for dinosaur loving kids with layers of chocolate pudding and ‘dirt!’

Dinosaur Dirt Cups
Kids love trinkets and every gift shop knows that! My son has piles of little toys he empties out of his pockets. When he was little I took pictures of the random things he left laying around. The littlest things have such big importance to kids – Lego pieces, rocks, toy cars, key chains, action figures, paper clips, rubber bands, coins, feathers, the list goes on!
When the kids at your child’s birthday party find out they can keep the toy dinosaurs from these Dinosaur Oreo Dirt Cake Cups they will be thrilled!
You can also make these for a construction themed party, or for Halloween, Earth Day, Easter, or just because!

- Make Ahead – These hold up nicely if you make them one day ahead, but I don’t recommend making them any farther ahead than that. The cookie crumbs will start to soften.
- Pudding – Any brand of instant chocolate pudding will work, but it must be instant. Use the 3.9 oz size box.
- Variations:
- Sandy Beach – Use golden Oreos and decorate with little umbrellas.
- Easter
- Flower – Use little flowers to garnish with.
- Earth Day

- Halloween
