Crispy Oven Baked Sweet Potato Fries
The last time I made these Crispy Oven Baked Sweet Potato Fries, I could barely keep them around long enough to take pictures of them!
I put a batch in the oven and left them to bake while I tended to my flowers outside. When the time was up I went back in, removed them from the oven, and let them cool. I went back outside to finish what I started and my son and his neighbor friend decided it was too hot outside so they went inside. Meanwhile, my husband came outside to help me finish up working on the flowers.
When we were all done, my husband was ahead of me and as he walked in the door I heard him say, “Whatcha doin’?” His tone was an indication he already knew what they were doing!
He then told me the kids were caught red handed eating the fries! I love that they were sneaking these, it’s a snack they can sneak endlessly because they are healthy!
These fries are hard to keep around! They are sooooo good! They are fresh from the potato, nothing like store bought. I know the sound of homemade fries sounds daunting, but work together as a family and it won’t take long for them to get into the oven!
If you love sweet potatoes as much as I do (and I loooooove sweet potatoes), then I think you will love Sweet Potato Casserole, Pecan Pie Twice Baked Sweet Potatoes, Sweet Potato Pie, and Sweet Potato & Black Bean Tacos, too!
