Easy Ramen Noodle Salad with Store Bought Coleslaw
This is one of those recipes I would normally raise an eyebrow at and keep scrolling. But a friend of mine made something similar to this salad and when I tried it I was pleasantly surprised!
I never asked her for the recipe, time passed, and I forgot all about it. Until recently I was looking through recipes and found this one for Ramen Noodle Salad. I was surprised how simple the ingredients are and how much great flavor and texture is packed into such an easy to make salad!

What You’ll Need:
- 1/2 cup Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 (3 oz) package Ramen Noodles (Remove Seasoning Packet)
- 1/2 cup Almonds, Slivered
- 3 tbsp Sesame Seeds
- 1 (14 oz) bag Tri-Color Coleslaw
- 1 bunch Green Onions, Sliced Thin

How to Make Ramen Noodle Salad
- Combine 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1/2 cup sugar, and 2 tbsp soy sauce in a jar and shake until the sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
- Melt 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- While the butter is melted, crush 1 (3 oz) package Ramen Noodles while still in the package. Remove the seasoning packet and add the crushed noodles, 1/2 cup slivered almonds, and 3 tbsp sesame seeds to the melted butter.
- Sauté, while stirring frequently, until the noodle mixture is golden brown. Transfer to a plate and let cool.
- Pour 1 (14 oz) bag tri-color coleslaw and 1 bunch thinly sliced green onions into a large bowl. Add noodle mixture. Pour dressing over the coleslaw and toss until combined.
- Serve immediately.
