FREQUENLTY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Can I use regular Oreos instead of mint Oreos?
Yes! Regular Oreos work perfectly if you plan to control the mint using extract.
How do I keep the cookies soft and chewy?
Don’t overbake them. The centers should look slightly underdone when you pull them from the oven – they will firm up as they cool.
Can I freeze these cookies?
Yes! You can freeze the baked cookies or the dough balls in a freezer safe bag or container for up to 3 months. Dough can be baked straight from the freezer – just add 1-2 minutes to the bake time.
Are these cookies good for holidays?
Yes! They are especially popular for St. Patrick’s Day, Christmas, or anytime chocolate-mint desserts are a hit.
