A really easy to make Garlic Knot made from pre-made pizza dough! These are a delicious party snack or side!
Garlic Knots with Pizza Dough
I love to sit on our deck from Spring to Fall and read. I especially love to look through recipes, it’s one of my favorite things to do! I accumulate recipes faster than I can make them so they end up in a binder that I hope to some day get to. I like to look back and pull one out of the pile!
These Easy Garlic Knots were one of those recipes! These are soooo easy to make because the dough is a pre-made pizza dough crust!
This no-fail recipe would go great with Stuffed Shells, Saucy Vegetarian Meatballs, or One Pan Fettuccine Alfredo! They would also work great as a side for pizza. And you could serve them as an appetizer or a party snack for football games!
What You’ll Need:
- 1 8 oz Package of Pillsbury Pizza Dough
- 2 tbsp Butter, Melted
- 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
- Salt
- Parmesan, Grated
- Parsley Flakes
How to Make Easy Garlic Knots
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lay out the dough from one 8 oz package of Pillsbury Pizza Dough and lightly tug on the edges to even it out.
- Slice the dough into 8 inch strips with a pizza cutter. Tie each strip into a loose knot and set on parchment paper evenly spaced.
- Bake for 15 minutes. The knots should be golden brown.
- In the meantime, melt 2 tbsp of butter and stir in 4 minced cloves of garlic into the melted butter.
- As soon as you take the knots out of the oven, generously brush the melted butter over them. Then sprinkle with salt, grated Parmesan, and parsley flakes.
Recipe Notes:
- Garlic – I buy garlic that is already minced to save time!
- Brushing the butter – If you don’t have a way to brush on the melted butter, just dunk the knots into it.
- When to serve – These work great as a side for pizza or pasta. You could also serve them as an appetizer for football games!
