A sweet cream cheese layer topped with pudding and Cool Whip lay perfectly over a chocolate chip cookie crust!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Delight Recipe
I love going to the library to check out cookbooks. There is just something about flipping through a cookbook that is so therapeutic! I’ve been on a mission to find old, classic, timeless recipes that have been forgotten about.
I’ve been looking through my own recipes, too, and came across this Chocolate Chip Cookie Delight that has always been one of our favorites! It’s one of my go to desserts to bring to our church potlucks. I found this recipe on the Taste of Home website years ago, way before Pinterest.
Over time people have tried changing this recipe by doubling the thickness of the cookie crust and cream cheese layer. Honestly, it’s fantastic just the way it is! The layers are perfectly balanced so one doesn’t overpower the other. I will always make this recipe as it is, adding more isn’t always better.
I have so many favorite dessert recipes! If you love layers as much as I do, then I think you’ll like Chocolate Chip Cookie Cheesecake Bars, Cheesecake Brownies, Birthday Cake Delight, and Lemon Lasagna!

What You’ll Need:
- 1 (16.5 oz) tube Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
- 1 (8 oz) Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar
- 3 cups + 1 tbsp Milk
- 1 (3.9 oz) Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix
- 1 (3.4 oz) Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
- 1 (8 oz) Cool Whip, Thawed
- Chocolate Chips or Cookie Crumbs, Optional

How to Make Chocolate Chip Cookie Delight
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Let 1 (16.5 oz) refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough stand at room temperature for 5-10 minutes to soften.
- Press evenly into ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 14-16 minutes. Let cool.
- In a small bowl, beat together 1 (8 oz) softened cream cheese, 1 cup powdered sugar, and 1 tbsp milk until smooth and creamy. Spread evenly over cooled cookie crust, leaving no gaps between the pan and the mixture. This helps keep the pudding from sneaking through.
- Pour 3 cups milk in a medium bowl. Beat in 1 (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix and 1 (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix until well combined and lumps are gone.
- Once a thick pudding forms, spread evenly over the cream cheese layer. Let sit for 5 minutes, or until set.
- Spread 1 (8 oz) thawed Cool Whip evenly over the top.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips or cookie crumbs on top if desired.
