Juicy strawberries sandwiched between homemade biscuits and a dollop of whipped cream makes for a delicious sweet treat!
Perfect Shortcake
I recently attempted to make biscuits and failed. To make matters worse, it was my third baking fail of the day! So I called the big guns – my Grandma!
She made a fresh batch of Homemade Fluffy Biscuits so I could make this Strawberry Shortcake for you! I just love and appreciate her so much!
If you have fresh strawberries to use up, be sure to make Strawberry Lemonade, Strawberry Muffins, and Strawberry Shortcake Bars, too!
What You’ll Need:
- Homemade Fluffy Biscuits
- Fresh Strawberries, Hulled & Chopped
- Whipped Cream or Cool Whip
How to Make Strawberry Shortcake
- Cut a Homemade Fluffy Biscuit in half and set aside.
- Clean, hull, and dice desired number of fresh strawberries. I like to use a biscuit cutter to chop them up, it brings the juice out of the berries!
- Lay strawberries over half of the biscuit. Top with a dollop of whipped cream or Cool Whip. Top with other half of biscuit. Enjoy right away!
