A quick and easy vegetarian sandwich stacked high with layers of crispy vegetarian ‘bacon,’ fresh lettuce, and juicy tomato!

BLT Without Bacon
We recently rebuilt our entire deck, and it is by far the most beautiful project we’ve ever done. We are so happy with it! We have always spent a lot of time on it. It’s my favorite spot to read and have my morning devotional. We eat our meals and play games on it – it’s just our go to spot from Spring to Fall!
And as long as the Farmer’s Market is open, we have Vegetarian BLT’s at least once a week. Sometimes more! It’s one of our favorite dinners to have on the deck. I especially like trying them with different bread. There is a booth at the Farmer’s Market that sells a variety of homemade bread so I try a different kind each week – everything from croissants to Asiago bagels and the jalapeno cheddar bread!
And you can change up the sides you serve with your sandwich with ideas like Macaroni Salad, Buttery Garlic Green Beans, Honey Butter Skillet Corn, or Classic Potato Salad!

What You’ll Need:
- 2 Slices of Bread
- 2 tbsp Garlic Aioli
- 6 Morningstar Vegetarian Bacon Strips, Crispy
- Lettuce
- Sliced Tomato

How to Make a Vegetarian BLT
- Crisp desired number of Morningstar Vegetarian Bacon Strips on a skillet over medium heat. Flip half way through so both sides are crispy.
- Lightly toast two pieces of bread and spread desired amount of garlic aioli over both insides of the bread slices.
- Then layer desired number of crispy Morningstar Vegetarian Bacon Strips, lettuce, and tomato.
