No Bake Peppermint Pie Recipe
I am constantly at war with the winter ‘sun.’ I use natural light to take pictures and it’s exhausting trying to find the best light in the winter months.
Early afternoon in the Fall is actually the best time for me to take pictures, it’s when I get perfect light. But the winter – there isn’t a sweet spot. It’s like a game of roulette every day, especially if we have snow!
I find myself retaking pictures often because I just can’t get them to look the way I want! It’s just all part of the job!

What You’ll Need:
- 1 Oreo Pie Crust
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 2 (8 oz) Cream Cheese, Softened
- 10 drops Red Food Coloring
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 tsp Peppermint Extract
- 1/2 cup Crushed Candy Cane
- 1 (8 oz) Cool Whip
How to Make No Bake Peppermint Pie
- In a large bowl, whip 1 cup heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- In a separate medium bowl, cream together 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar and 2 (8 oz) softened cream cheese.
- Add in 10 drops red food coloring, 2 tsp vanilla, and 1 tsp peppermint extract and mix until well combined.
- Mix in 1/2 cup crushed candy cane.
- Transfer the cream cheese mixture into the whipped heavy cream and mix together.
- Pour into the Oreo crust and spread evenly.
- Top pie with 1 (8 oz) Cool Whip.
- Sprinkle additional crushed candy on top to garnish.
- Refrigerate until firm.
