Hibiscus Tea Recipe
My Grandma had a heart attack several years ago. Ever since then she’s been very diligent in maintaining a healthy blood pressure, without medication.
As she worked to make changes, she learned that Hibiscus Tea lowers blood pressure. She figured there was nothing to lose, so she tried it. It worked!
Please don’t take this as medical advice. I’m only sharing what worked for her in case you are looking for an idea on how to lower your blood pressure, too!

What You’ll Need:
- 2 cups Water, Boiling
- 3/4 cup Hibiscus Flowers, Dried
- 4 cups Water, Cold
- Honey to Taste

How to Make Hibiscus Tea
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in 3/4 cup dried hibiscus flowers.
- Let steep for 25 minutes.
- Pour the mixture through a strainer into a pitcher to separate the flowers. Discard the flowers.
- Pour in 4 cups cold water and stir until blended.
- Stir in honey to taste.
- Serve warm or cold.
