Valentine Pancake Idea
When I was making Valentine Mini-Pancake Stacks, an idea for these Valentine Pancake Nachos came to me! Making a fun breakfast for holiday’s makes kids feel special. But if a holiday falls on a school morning, we don’t have a lot of time.
That’s why I love this idea so much! It’s super easy to thaw out a few store-bought mini-pancakes and top them with fruit, a drizzle of Nutella, and a dollop of whipped cream!
If you would rather do something special for their lunch, you could pack them a handful of Cupid’s Crunch Mix or Valentine Puppy Chow, or you could pack them some Valentine Peanut Butter Cookie Cups or Love Bug Oreo Cookies!
What You’ll Need:
- Mini-Pancakes
- Nutella, Melted
- Strawberries, Sliced
- Banana, Sliced
- Whipped Cream
- Valentine Sprinkles
How to Make Valentine Pancake Nachos
- Lay desired number of mini-pancakes on a plate.
- Sliced desired amount of sliced strawberries and bananas on top of pancakes.
- Melt desired amount of Nutella in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds and drizzle over the fruit and pancakes.
- Top with whipped cream and Valentine sprinkles.
Recipe Notes:
- Nacho style – You can make these nacho style pancakes any way you want! You can drizzle peanut butter or syrup over them instead of or in addition to the Nutella. And you can add whatever fruit and toppings you’d like!
- Mini-pancakes – It’s easiest to just buy mini-pancakes. If you’d like to make a healthier version of them, you can just make mini-pancakes out of my Easy Healthy Pancake batter!
