I love the smell of Fall. It seems like every apple recipe, no matter how much they vary all make the house smell the same – warm and comforting. If you love that feeling too, then you’ll love these Apple Dumplings with Crescent Rolls and this Easy Apple Crumble.

What You’ll Need:
- 1 can Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls
- 2 Apples (Peeled, Cored, Sliced & Diced)
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar + 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tbsp Water
- 5 tbsp Butter, Melted

How to Make an Apple Fritter Cinnamon Roll Bake
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a glass pie pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
- Remove cinnamon rolls from the package and slice each cinnamon roll into 6 pieces. Distribute the pieces evenly throughout the pan. They will fall apart a little, that’s okay!
- Peel, core, slice, and dice 2 apples. Place them in a bowl and toss them in 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, and 1 tbsp water. Cover the bowl loosely with paper towel and microwave for 2 minutes.
- Remove from the microwave and drain the water out. Sprinkle the diced apples evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces.
- Melt 5 tbsp butter in the microwave, covering loosely with a paper towel. Once melted, stir in 1/3 cup brown sugar. Then pour over the apples and cinnamon rolls.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let the cinnamon rolls sit for 10 minutes. Place the icing that came with the cinnamon rolls in the microwave for 10 seconds and drizzle all over.

Recipe Notes:
- Baking dish – You don’t have to use a pie pan, you can use an 8 x 8 baking dish if you’d like.
- Don’t over bake – Over baking can happen easily because the look of the cinnamon rolls can deceive you into thinking they aren’t done. If you over bake them, they will be hard and dry. Baking at 25 minutes should be perfect. If you are certain they need a little more time then only add one minute at a time. Remember, they will continue to bake in the pan when you remove them from the oven.
- Icing – Hold off on pouring the icing over the cinnamon rolls until they have sat out of the oven for at least 10 minutes. If you do it immediately, the cinnamon rolls are too hot and the icing melts into them. You want the icing to firm up on top of them, so be sure to let them sit and cool.
- Freshness – It’s best to eat this within the first day or two of baking. Make sure to keep the cinnamon rolls covered so they don’t dry out. I keep them covered on the counter for up to 2 days, if they last that long!
- Reheating – You may need to reheat them in the microwave for 10 seconds or so before serving.
