A non-traditional peanut butter and jelly sandwich meets a non-traditional hot dog. Kids love this fun idea!
Banana Dog
For a long time my son didn’t like hot dogs, so I improvised and made him a Banana Dog! Otherwise known as a Peanut Butter & Jelly Hot Dog. It’s so ridiculous, but he loves them! Truthfully, so do I.
These work great for a quick lunch. And they work for a packed lunch, too. Just make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a hot dog bun and peel the banana right before eating. Kids just think these are the greatest thing!
I test a lot of my recipes out on kids, and so far some of their favorites that would work for a packed lunch are No Bake Nutella S’mores Granola Bars, Easy Homemade Applesauce, and Vegan Hulk Spinach Banana Muffins!
