No Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bars

We went to a friends house for the Packer game this past Sunday. I get excited when I hear the word par-tay! That means we are having all sorts of amazing food that I can blog about, like these No Bake Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bars. Except, I changed the plan and decided to take these to our church potluck instead.

A co-worker, who was a repeat customer of my Etsy bakery, told me that she recently stopped at a kiosk in the Mall of America for a very expensive glob of cookie dough. She was greatly disappointed and said my cookie dough is waaaaay better than what she overpaid for. I was flattered!

My husband loves cookie dough. Check out THE BEST edible cookie dough you’ll ever eat right over here. Well, it’s not just my husband that loves it. As far back as I can remember my Mom would chase me out of the bowl of cookie dough!

These are super easy to make, you don’t have to bake them, and people will love ’em! These are my thoughts and pictures, but it isn’t my recipe. I am just raving about someone else’s! I found the original recipe here.

First, line your glass pan with wax paper. (This makes cutting and serving SUPER easy, and your bars will have clean lines and look pretty!) Then make and press your cookie dough into the pan and pour the chocolate coating on top, spreading evenly.

Then, put in the refrigerator until firm.

Once firm, it is so easy to pull out of the pan! The edges will of course reflect that it’s been hugged by wax paper, so I just trim off the edges.

You can cut these into any size bar you’d like!

I prefer these treats bite size. Smaller pieces seem to be the perfect chunk of cookie dough!

I even made an extra batch for my husband to take to work with him! Make sure you keep these guys covered until you are ready to eat them – otherwise they’ll get dry.

That thick slab of cookie dough, loaded with chocolate chips, packed with peanut butter flavor, and topped with the sweetness of chocolate do all the talking in this post. I can’t think of the words to describe how delicious these truly are!
