Edible Triple Chocolate Cookie Dough
I have noticed a trend in fast food restaurants that’s making me scratch my head a little. I am hoping you can help me.
When I swipe my debit card at the counter, why am I given an option to leave a tip? It makes me feel so uncomfortable. Their position doesn’t require any additional effort other than entering orders. The person waiting tables at a sit-down restaurant puts in far more effort and is making a base wage of only a few dollars an hour – the rest of their pay is compensated with tips.
This new trend in tipping the person at the cash register just has me puzzled. I haven’t been tipping them. Should I be? I would love to hear your thoughts so I can finally put this debate with myself to rest.
Speaking of debate – cookies or cookie dough? If you love cookie dough as much as I do, then you must try this Triple Chocolate Edible Cookie Dough! It’s so yummy and super easy to make! You could even have a variety of flavors and try making Edible M&M Cookie Dough or Edible Reese’s Cookie Dough!
What You’ll Need:

Is Raw Flour Safe to Eat?
A: You decide; I can think of a lot worse things to eat. In my opinion, it’s worth the ‘risk!’
Recipe Notes & Substitutions:
- Chocolate – Taste the batter after you mix in the melted chocolate. You may like it with more chocolate! If so, add an additional 1/4 cup melted chocolate chips.
- Vegan – You can easily make this vegan by substituting the butter, milk, and chocolate chips with vegan alternatives.
- Chocolate chips – They are easily interchangeable, use whatever flavor you’d like!
- Storing – The cookie dough needs to be stored in the refrigerator, however, it’s safe to bring it to room temperature for consumption. The refrigerator makes the cookie dough firm, so you’ll want to bring it to room temperature before eating so it has a cookie dough texture!
- Freezing – This cookie dough freezes nicely in a freezer safe container.
