Cinnamon Sugar Soft Pretzels Recipe
We were recently sitting around with my family for the holidays and were comparing how things were when my Grandma was my age to how things are now. She told us that she used to get up at an unreasonably early hour to make breakfast for my Grandpa before he went to work.
You should have seen the look my husband gave me! His face lit up and his eyes got big! He wanted to know how he could get me to do the same thing for him! We got a great laugh out of the whole conversation, including me telling him that is never going to happen.
He got to enjoy these Cinnamon Sugar Soft Pretzels as a fun snack instead and he absolutely love them! They are especially fantastic if you dip them in melted Cream Cheese Frosting!
If you are in the mood for more great snacks, then I think you’ll really love Caramel Crispix, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip, Puppy Chow, Chex Scotcheroos, or Beer Dip!

How to Make Cinnamon Sugar Soft Pretzels
- In a large bowl, dissolve 2 packages (1 1/2 tbsp) yeast in 2 cups warm milk. When the mixture is bubbly, mix in the 1/4 cup brown sugar, 4 tbsp melted butter, 2 tsp salt, and 1 cup flour. Mix until combined.
- Add in remaining flour, 1 cup at a time, and mix until smooth and slightly sticky dough forms. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let rise for an hour, or until doubled in size.
- After the dough has risen, preheat oven to 450 degrees.
