The Best Recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookies
I’m pretty sure everyone claims to have the best recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookies. And honestly, I am sure they’re all great. Every cookie is different, yet they all taste amazing!
I have a lot of favorite recipes for cookies, like these Chewy Sugar Cookies, Brownie Mix Cookies, Peanut Butter Blossoms, and Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies! But this recipe is my all-time favorite! They are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. And it doesn’t matter how many days you have one after they were baked, they still taste fresh!
This is my Grandma’s recipe, so you know it’s a good one. My son recently spent the day with her and they made this batch of cookies together. He was so proud of these because he made them all by himself! I’m pretty sure his favorite reason to bake with Grandma is because she lets him eat the cookie dough! If that’s the only reason you make cookies, then make sure you try Edible Cookie Dough or Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bars!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What makes these the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies?
It’s all about the balance: crisp edges, soft and chewy centers, and plenty of melted chocolate in every bite. No dry, flat, or cakey cookies here!
How do I know when the cookies are done baking?
The edges should look set and lightly golden, while the centers may still look soft. They will continue to firm up as they cool.
Are these good for parties and bake sales?
They are perfect! These cookies are familiar, crowd-pleasing, and disappear fast wherever they are served.
Can I use chocolate chip or chocolate chunks?
Yes! Chocolate chips hold their shape, while chunks melt into gooey pockets. A mix of both gives the best texture and flavor.
