Fresh juicy peaches combined with pre-made cinnamon roll dough to make the most delicious breakfast treat ever!
Cinnamon Roll Cobbler
My favorite breakfast food is cinnamon rolls and my favorite fresh fruit is peaches. Combine the two in this Cinnamon Roll Peach Cobbler and you have the most delicious, comforting bite of Fall in every single bite!
If you love peaches as much as I do, then you should try this Baked Sticky Peach Pudding or Peach Cobbler. They are both delicious and comforting on cool Fall nights, especially with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
For busy mornings, I love having these Peach Crisp Overnight Oats ready and for a healthy snack I like to have these Peach Fruit Roll-Ups on hand!
What You’ll Need:
- 5 Fresh Peaches
- 1 tbsp Water
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 Package of Pillsbury Cinnamon Roll Dough
How to Make Cinnamon Roll Peach Cobbler
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9-inch square pan with non-stick spray. Set aside.
- Pit, peel, and slice 5 peaches and place them in a medium sized sauce pan.
- Add 1 tbsp water, 3 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp flour, 2 tsp cinnamon, and 1/2 tsp nutmeg. Stir occasionally over low-medium heat for about 5 minutes.
- Pour peaches into the baking dish.
- Cut each cinnamon roll into fourths and sprinkle the dough evenly over the top of the peaches.
- Tent a piece of foil over the baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for additional 15 minutes, or until cinnamon rolls are golden brown.
- After removing from the oven, drizzle the icing that came with the package of cinnamon rolls over the cobbler.
Recipe Notes & Substitutions:
- Tin foil tent is required – If you skip this, the cinnamon roll dough will get dark too quickly on the outside before the center of the dough is baked all the way through on the inside.
- Don’t over bake – Make sure to set a timer and promptly check the cobbler when the time is up. The tops of the cinnamon rolls should be golden brown.
- Icing – Similar recipes to this one are available, however, most require you to make your own icing or glaze. Just use what came with the package of cinnamon rolls. Work smarter, not harder!
- Pre-made dough – You can use any brand of pre-made cinnamon roll dough. I’ve used the Aldi brand and it works just fine!
- Peaches – You can peel the peaches or leave the peeling on.
- Baking dish – The original recipe called for a 2 1/2 quart dish. So you can use any baking dish comparable to that size, it doesn’t have to be a 9-inch square pan.
