At the close of every day I am overwhelmed with this exciting feeling of, “I can’t wait to go to work tomorrow!” I love, love, love, LOVE my ‘job!’ First of all, it doesn’t actually feel like a job and second, I get to make fun things like this St. Patrick’s Day Puppy Chow and Lucky Charms Puppy Chow!

I love the creativity Puppy Chow brings out in me! There are so many different variations you can make. And I especially love snacking on it, this stuff is one of my greatest weaknesses!

Ingredients You’ll Need:

6 cups Rice Chex Cereal
1 cup Milk Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
1/4 cup Butter
1 tsp Vanilla
2 cups Powdered Sugar

How to Make St. Patrick’s Day Puppy Chow

Pour 6 cups Rice Chex cereal in a large bowl and set aside.
Put 1 cup milk chocolate chips, 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter, and 1/4 cup butter in a small sauce pan and melt together over low heat. Stir frequently until completely melted and combined then add in 1 tsp vanilla and stir.
Pour over cereal and mix until the cereal is coated.
Transfer to a gallon Ziplock bag, then add 2 cups powdered sugar. Seal the bag and shake until the cereal is well coated.
To keep the marshmallows bright colored, sprinkle desired amount of St. Patrick’s Day Lucky Charms Marshmallows on top of the Puppy Chow before serving.
