A fun little bite size semi-homemade Christmas treat that is super easy to make for the holidays!
Mini Hot Cocoa Brownies
I needed to make something for a Christmas program, but I didn’t have much time. I had a container of Target’s amazing little brownie bites that I didn’t get around to using yet, so I quick scrolled through Pinterest to see if I could find inspiration.
One of my favorite blogs, Gluesticks, came up! She made something similar, except using a boxed brownie mix. In addition to using Christmas sprinkles, I also used crushed candy cane to give some of them a peppermint flavor!
If you love semi-homemade ideas, then I think you’ll save time with Christmas Tree Cinnamon Rolls, Pillsbury Peanut Butter Blossoms, Stacked Sprinkle Christmas Cookies, Snicker Surprise Peanut Butter Cookies, and 2-Ingredient Peanut Butter Cup Christmas Cookies!
What You’ll Need:
- 24 Mini-Store Bought Brownie Bites
- 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1 1/2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tsp Milk
- 2 tsp Corn Syrup
- Mini-Marshmallows
- Christmas Sprinkles
How to Make Hot Cocoa Brownie Bites
- Set out 24 store-bought brownie bites on parchment paper.
- Pile little stacks of mini-marshmallows on top of each brownie. (I use 5 per brownie)
- Make the ganache by combining 1/2 cup chocolate chips, 1 1/2 tbsp butter, 2 tsp milk, and 2 tsp corn syrup in a small bowl. Melt in the microwave for 30 seconds. Remove and stir until smooth.
- Pour a small amount of ganache on top of each pile of mini-marshmallows. Make sure it covers each one enough to keep them in place, but not too much that you can’t see them.
- Then sprinkle Christmas sprinkles on top.
