These cookie bars are loaded with chocolate chips and M&M’s in every chewy bite!

Halloween Cookie Bars with M&M’s

I love this recipe for Halloween M&M Cookie Bars because you can make them for every holiday! All you have to do is change out the M&M’s for the season!

These are especially fun for Halloween because you can sneak them into packed lunches, break rooms, or serve them at potlucks and parties!

I’ve made them for Valentine’s Day, Easter, 4th of July, and Christmas! Or you can just make M&M Cookie Bars for every day!

What You’ll Need:

• 2 cups + 2 tbsp Flour
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
• 3/4 cup Butter, Melted
• 1 cup Brown Sugar
• 1/2 cup Sugar
• 1 Egg
• 1 Egg Yolk
• 2 tsp Vanilla
• 1 cup Chocolate Chips
• 1 cup Halloween M&M’s

How to Make Halloween M&M Cookie Bars

• Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 metal pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
• In a small bowl, whisk together 2 cups + 2 tbsp flour, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp baking soda together.
• In a separate medium bowl, beat together 3/4 cup melted butter, 1 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 cup sugar until well combined. Add in 1 egg, 1 egg yolk, and 2 tsp vanilla and mix.
• Fold in dry ingredients. When half way combined, add in 1 cup chocolate chips and 1 cup Halloween M&M’s. Continue to fold until just combined.
• Press dough down evenly into the pan. Bake for 23 minutes.
• Right after removing from the oven, press additional chocolate chips and M&M’s gently into the top of the cookie bars.
