The Best Lucky Charms Puppy Chow Recipe!
There are several recipes for varieties of this Lucky Charms Puppy Chow, but of course I prefer to make it the easiest way! I like making my popular Puppy Chow and throwing in some of the marshmallows from Lucky Charms cereal. The colors of the marshmallows are so vibrant and fun! Some people throw in the cereal, too. It’s completely up to you!
My husband sorted all of the marshmallows out of the cereal for me, only for me to later find out you can buy just the marshmallows! Who knew?! It’s about time that’s an option!

What You’ll Need:
- 6 cups Rice Chex Cereal
- 1 cup Milk Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
- Lucky Charms Marshmallows
How to Make the Best Lucky Charms Puppy Chow
- Pour 6 cups Rice Chex cereal in a large bowl and set aside.
- Put 1 cup milk chocolate chips, 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter, and 1/4 cup butter in a small sauce pan and melt together over low heat. Stir frequently until completely melted and combined then add in 1 tsp vanilla and stir.
- Pour over cereal and mix until the cereal is coated.
- Transfer to a gallon Ziplock bag, then add 2 cups powdered sugar. Seal the bag and shake until the cereal is well coated.
- To keep the marshmallows bright colored, sprinkle desired amount of Lucky Charms Marshmallows on top of the Puppy Chow before serving.

- Put chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in a small sauce pan and melt together over low heat. Stir frequently until completely melted and combined then add in vanilla and stir.
- Pour over cereal and mix until the cereal is coated.
- Transfer to a gallon Ziplock bag, then add powdered sugar. Seal the bag and shake until the cereal is well coated.
- To keep the marshmallows bright colored, sprinkled desired amount of marshmallows on top of the Puppy Chow before serving.
