Easy Strawberry Angel Food Cake Lush Recipe
I had excruciating tooth pain – turns out I needed a root canal. It was a two appointment procedure, but it was much better than I expected it to be.
Many times throughout my life I’ve said, “I’d rather have a root canal,” when being dramatic about not wanting to do something. Even though the procedure wasn’t as terrible as I imagined, it’s certainly not something I would rather do to get out of what I don’t want to do!
A crown was recommended following the procedure. I was not thrilled, but scheduled the appointments. I went in to have it done and the very handsome dentist said my root canal was very conservatively treated, which meant most of my tooth was saved. Because he was so careful, my dentist said I only needed a filling instead of a crown!
I was so excited! That decision saved me time, money, and discomfort. I was so relieved! In that moment, I realized my dentist can truly be trusted. He could have gone ahead with the procedure and taken my money, I wouldn’t have known I didn’t need the crown. But he didn’t. He reiterated that health care is about the individual, it’s not a one size fits all.
As a thank you for being the best dentist office ever, I took them a pan of this Strawberry Angel Food Cake Lush! I wasn’t sure if there was enough ‘goop’ in this recipe to be proportionate to the angel food cake so I asked for their review to see if we needed to remake it. Everyone agreed it was delicious as it was, so I left the recipe as is!
