Mini Cinnamon Sugar Donuts Recipe
I married a man that works all day, comes home to change his clothes, then takes our son fishing. I deeply love him for his commitment to being a family man.
Now, I could leave it at that and let you think I married the perfect man. But we all know that doesn’t exist. Perfect women? Yes. But a perfect man? Nope. HA! Juuuust kidding!
The truth is, he did something that really drove me crazy not that long ago. Not a deal breaker, or really that big of a deal at all… but nonetheless, it annoyed me. It really rattled my cage for a few days and I just couldn’t move past it.
I prayed about it as the days passed and a reminder of what my wise Grandma has repeated crept into my head. She always says, “Find the good in people.” So I flipped my script. I started thinking about the things I love about my husband to shift my focus, even the littlest things.
As I was thinking these thoughts, an idea came to mind – I will go out of my way and think of a nice gesture. So, I bought him an Apple Fritter fresh from the bakery.
Is there really anything that says I love you more than donuts?! Especially in the form of Baked Mini-Cinnamon Sugar Donuts! These little guys are dangerous, they are super easy to just keep popping in your mouth!
