A low calorie, healthy alternative to ice cream. This refreshing late summer treat is made with only 4-ingredients!
It’s been a summer filled with family time, sunshine, and delicious seasonal fresh fruit! It’s been unseasonably cooler around here, so we’ve been able to have the windows open and enjoy the breeze all day and night!
As I look back on the last two weeks, I am reminded that God cares. He cares about everything, big and small.
We’ve had trouble with our central air conditioning unit for the past two summers. But somehow it still got us through the hot months. It finally quit working and needed to be replaced this week. My husband & I have been in awe at how beautiful our new one looks! We didn’t know how bad our old one was until we got a new one. The things we get excited about as adults are embarrassing! HA!

We pray about everything, so we had been praying about the replacement of the air conditioning and furnace. We had hoped many things… we were hoping for a miracle so that we didn’t have to replace it. Once we accepted it had to be replaced, we were hoping it would be inexpensive. While still praying about it, I called around to get other estimates to make sure we weren’t overpaying.
When I called the place that we had an appointment for installation with to discuss pricing, and possibly negotiate, he had said we will receive a discount for purchasing both the air conditioning and furnace AND said he would reduce our final price to an even number which gave us a $400 discount! We’ll take it!
We obsessed over the weather while waiting for the installation. Every day in the forecast was predicted to be cooler temperatures! It held at those cooler temperatures, keeping us from roasting.
This experience reminded us that God doesn’t promise our lives will be easy. He promises He’ll never leave our side and help us through life. And that’s exactly what He did for us!

- If you are having trouble blending the peaches, add just a smidge more milk.
- Allow to sit at room temperature for approximately 10 minutes to allow softening before serving.
- The lemon zest is what makes this sorbet taste like sorbet. Start by adding in the zest from 1 lemon. Then taste to determine if you’ll need additional lemon zest.
- Also, start with 2 tbsp honey and taste to determine if you need additional honey.
- If you don’t have fresh peaches, frozen work just as well!
