Lazy Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
The other day I walked into my son’s room and couldn’t help but dive into Spring cleaning mode. It felt so good to help him purge bags of stuff he didn’t need and re-organize his room!
My husband came home from working a long day in the middle of this project. Apparently my mood was contagious because he started helping us haul and sort stuff. Then I had the audacity to ask him if he’d vacuum the house. His hidden talent is vacuuming – he does a fantastic job!
Then… as we wrapped things up, my son still had energy and wanted to play basketball. So, my husband went outside to play with him while I made supper. As he was walking out the door I thanked him for being one of a kind. He can be really difficult sometimes, so he responded with, “I’m a one of a kind pain in your butt!” Sigh, isn’t that the truth.
But, do you know what isn’t difficult?! Making these Cake Mix Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars! I love cake mix recipes, they are super easy to make! If you do too, then be sure to try Funfetti Cake Mix Cookies and Mint Chocolate Cake Mix Cookies!
