Easy Bruschetta Recipe
We went to a friend’s house for dinner one evening and every one of us there raved about the meal she served! It was mouth watering. I told her she should be a food blogger! It seems like we are always asking her for recipes!
She made this Tomato Basil Bruschetta that night. She found the recipe over at The Seasoned Skillet!

What You’ll Need:
- 3 Vine Ripe Tomatoes
- 1/2 small Onion
- 2 tbsp Fresh Basil, Chopped
- 1 clove Garlic, Minced
- 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 Fine Sea Salt
- 1 French Baguette, Sliced
- 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Balsamic Vinegar Glaze
- Crumbled Feta

How to Make Tomato Basil Bruschetta
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Dice 3 vine ripe tomatoes and 1/2 small onion and set aside in a medium serving bowl. Remove tomato seeds and juice.
- Add in 2 tbsp freshly chopped basil, 1 clove chopped garlic, 1/2 tsp dried oregano, 1/4 tsp black pepper, and 1/4 tsp fine sea salt to the bowl.
- Stir to combine and set aside to marinate.
- Slice 1 French baguette diagonally into bite-size pieces. Lightly brush both sides with extra virgin olive oil.
- Place in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 8 minutes, flipping half way through.
- Transfer to a serving platter.
- When ready to serve, drain excess liquid from the bruschetta.
- Spoon mixture on top of each toast, drizzle with balsamic vinegar, and top with crumbled feta cheese.
