A delicious semi-homemade chocolate chip Easter cookie with bits of almond brittle in every sweet bite!

Semi-Homemade Cadbury Egg Chocolate Chip Cookies
I absolutely love Aldi! Their prices are more affordable than their competitors and most of the stuff they sell is better tasting. Like chocolate chip cookie dough for example!
Just about every grocery store, Target, or Walmart is selling the same cookie dough. But I like to be different, so I am always looking for something out of the ordinary. I don’t want tiny cubes of cookie dough – I want big chunks of it and Aldi’s premium cookie dough is not only packed with chocolate chips but it has bits of almond brittle in it, too! Their cookie dough is fantastic!
I have gobs of Cadbury mini chocolate eggs to use up so I thought I’d trying making some cookies with them using some of my favorite cookie dough! You know me – always taking shortcuts with semi-homemade ideas! While I was at Aldi, I noticed some cute little Easter bunny chocolates and thought I would try and find a way to use them!
The best thing about this recipe is you can use any kind of cookie dough you want, from anywhere, and any flavor. It’s a very versatile idea, so you can really do whatever you want with it!
My plan actually came together! I am super happy with the way these Cadbury Egg Cookies came out! If you have Cadbury eggs to use up, you might like Cadbury Egg Puppy Chow, Cadbury Mini Egg Dip, Mini Cadbury Egg Cookie Bars, or Mini Bird Nest Donuts, too!
