Cranberry Pecan Cheese Ball Recipe

YES, I AM SHOUTING! You will thank me! This got rave reviews at church gathering I recently brought it to. We couldn’t stop eating it – it’s just so delicious! It checks all of the boxes – it’s easy to make, you can make it ahead, it’s perfect for holiday parties, potlucks, or cozy gatherings. And it’s classic, elegant, and irresistibly delicious!

What You’ll Need:
- 2 (8 oz) Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1 cup White Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
- 1 cup Dried Cranberries, Roughly Chopped
- 1 cup Pecans, Finely Chopped
- 2 tbsp Fresh Chives, Chopped
How to Make a Cranberry Pecan Cheese Ball
- In a large bowl, beat together 2 (8 oz) softened cream cheese, 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup roughly chopped dried cranberries, 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans, and 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives.
- Scrape down sides of the bowl, bringing the mixture to the center. This will make about 3 cups.
- Set out a piece of 10″ x 10″ plastic wrap.
- Using greased hands, form the cream cheese mixture into a ball and place onto the plastic wrap. Bring the edges of the plastic wrap around the cheese ball to seal. Let chill in the refrigerator until firm.
- On a plate, combine 1/2 cup roughly chopped dried cranberries, 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans, and 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives.
- Remove the cheese ball from the refrigerator and unwrap.
- Roll into the mixture on the plate, pressing slightly into it to cover the cheese ball entirely.
- Let sit at room temperature to soften for about 20 minutes before serving.
- Serve with crackers.
