Easy Reese’s Oreo Bat Treats for Halloween Parties!
If you’re looking for the cutest, quickest Halloween treat to make this Fall, these Reese’s Oreo Bats are about to become your new favorite! My friend Katie sent this idea to me! They’re bite sized, no bake, kid approved, and come together in just minutes – perfect for classroom parties, Fall festivals, or a cozy October movie night!
Each little bat starts with a mini Reese’s cup, gets Oreo wings, and finishes with candy eyes for that spooky cute look everyone loves. They’re the kind of treat that makes people smile the moment they see them… and then immediately reach for another.
Whether you’re building a Halloween snack board or need something simple for a last‑minute party, these bats always steal the show!
Why this Recipe Works:
- Adorable Halloween Presentation with Minimal Effort – Splitting Oreo’s into wings and adding candy eyes instantly transforms simple ingredients into the cutest spooky cute bats.
- Only a Handful of Ingredients – Mini Reese’s cups, Oreos, candy eyes, and melted chocolate. Everything is easy to find, budget friendly, and kid approved.
- Completely No Bake – No oven, no stovetop, no fuss – just simple assembly.

Ingredients You’ll Need:
- 12 Mini Reese’s (Unwrapped) – The base of each bat – rich, chocolatey, and the perfect size for a bite-sized Halloween treat.
- 6 Oreos (Split in Half) – The ‘wings’ of the bat. Splitting them cleanly gives you two perfect semi-circles to tuck behind the Reese’s cup.
- 24 Candy Eyes – Brings the bats to life with a cute, spooky look kids love.
- 2 tbsp Chocolate Chips (Melted) – Acts as the edible glue to attach the Oreo wings and candy eyes to the Reese’s cup.

How to Make Reese’s Oreo Bats
- Unwrap 12 mini Reese’s and set them on parchment paper.
- Untwist 6 Oreos. Scrape cream filling off and cut in half. (This may take a few attempts, sometimes the cookies break while cutting.) Place near the unwrapped Reese’s in the direction they will be ‘glued’ on.
- Melt 2 tbsp chocolate chips on a paper plate to use as ‘glue.’ Dip the back end corners of the Oreos into the melted chocolate and position onto the Reese’s to look like wings, as pictured. Repeat until all of the wings are on.
- Dip a toothpick into the melted chocolate and put onto the back of a candy eye. ‘Glue’ on top of the wings as pictured. Repeat until all sets of eyes are ‘glued’ on.
- Let harden before serving.

My Best Tips:
- Split Oreos Gently – Twist slowly to separate the cookie cleanly. If one breaks, save it – you’ll get another perfect wing from the next Oreo.
- Scrape Off the Filling – Removing the cream helps the wings sit flat and stick better to the Reese’s cup.
- Make Them Ahead – These store beautifully and stay cute for days, making them perfect for parties, school events, or treat trays.
