My son’s favorite meal is pancakes! It doesn’t matter for what meal, he’ll take pancakes over anything else. So I thought it would be fun to make him Grinch Pancakes to go along with one of our favorite Christmas movies!
I love that such a festive batch of pancakes can be made with a store bought pancake mix! You could really dress these up any way you’d like, but I find a dollop of whipped cream and some Grinchy sprinkles to be the easiest. And easy is what all of us need during the holidays!
If you love the Grinch as much as I do, then I think you’d love No Bake Grinch Christmas Cheesecake or Grinch Dip! And if you really want to go all out, here’s a list of 20 Grinch Recipes!
Also, if you don’t have neon green food coloring, which is what I recommend to make sure these turn out Grinchy green, then you could make Christmas Pancakes instead!
What You’ll Need:

- Neon Green Food Coloring
How to Make Grinch Pancakes
- Prepare pancake batter according to the directions on the box.
- Stir neon green food coloring into the batter until green Grinch color is reached.
- Spoon batter onto a skillet over low heat. Slowly cooking the pancakes will make sure they don’t turn brown, which would take away from the Grinchy green color.
- Repeat until desired number of pancakes are made.
